Hi Honey, I’m Home (Or How I Spent My Summer Vacation)

Hi Honey, I'm Home

Hi Honey, I’m Home

Now that the summer season has officially drawn to a close, I have returned to my online home brimming with newfound insights and experiences acquired during my lively sojourn.

And I cannot wait to share them with you.

Admittedly, my initial intention was to take only a short respite from blog writing to enjoy the warmer weather and catch up on some reading and other tasks but it seemed that life with its myriad twists and turns had other plans for me. Before I knew it, my brief hiatus had extended to the end of summer where it delightfully culminated with a memorable celebration of another year of wedded bliss – this one a milestone anniversary – for me and my beloved on September first.

Now if someone had told me that by taking a temporary break from writing, new opportunities to discuss and further explore human sexuality and the art of sensual living would present themselves in the most unexpected places and ways, I am not sure I would have believed it.

But that is exactly what occurred.

So although I did not deliberately choose to extend my break, it is now clear that doing so ended up being exactly what was needed for both me and the blog. Funny how that happens, isn’t it?

And while I never did put much of a dent in that pile of precariously stacked books in my office or complete every task I had originally set out to accomplish during my downtime, I am good with that. More than good. And for a whole range of reasons.

For one thing, my brief respite from posting created an opening in which to showcase the talented writing skills of various blog readers each week. Their true erotic confessions were not only a joy to read, they are a welcomed addition to the blog; as is their willingness to share their own sexual experiences with others.

So now I have returned from my travels feeling refreshed, invigorated and as passionate as ever about life, love, sex and sensual living. And just like any other happy traveler, I am keen to share my new adventures, discoveries and awareness with others.

And that, my dear friends, is how I spent my summer vacation. How about you? ♥

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that my summer sabbatical would not have been nearly as successful nor fulfilling had I not known that this blog was in left in the good care of Mr. Romance. He kept everything running smoothly in my absence and continued to post those tantalizing erotic gifs and for that I am sincerely grateful. Thank you my friend.

Congrats TPW. Summers, while enjoyable due the weather and my daughter being home from college can be frustrating for the very same reason. Not enough alone time for the Mrs and me. I love them both very much, my daughter has just started a year long YAV mission trip. The Mrs and I have a lot of catching up to do. Looking forward to your follow up blogs.

Congratulations to your daughter; I am sure it will be a rewarding experience for her. Hahaha…well I am sure that you and your lovely wife will have a great deal of fun catching up. 😉

Thank you for the congratulations and I look forward to hearing from you again.

Until then, take care of you and yours! 🙂

My husband and I have spent the summer preparing for the arrival of our first child. Needless to say that our summer has been extremely hectic, as we get ready to meet our baby girl in the next week or so 🙂

Big congratulations to you and your husband, Kendall!! 😀

Such amazing news! Although preparing for the arrival of a child can indeed be very hectic for a new mommy and daddy-to-be, it will all be very much worth it when you hold that little bundle of pure joy in your arms for the first time…and the second…and the third… 😉

Wishing you a successful delivery and thank you so much for sharing such wonderful news with all of us! Congratulations again! 😀
